Mars Rock Study

Ten US universities are getting a total of US$800,000 to study in greater detail Martian meteorite ALH84001 - an object bearing what some scientists believe is evidence of ancient microbial life on the Red Planet. The money will go to investigate the meteorite and to study similar rocks known to come from Earth.
