An Italian court convicted two former German SS officers of crimes against humanity for the March 1944 reprisal massacre of 335 Roman civilians. Kurt Priebke, 83, was sentenced to 15 years in prison, with 10 years suspended. Erich Hass, 84, received a suspended 10-year sentence.
