Bomb Plot Charged

The FBI and New York City police said they broke up an anti-Jewish, anti-American suicide-bomb plot with a raid on a Brooklyn apartment. Two men wounded in the raid - identified in an FBI affidavit as Lafi Khalil and Gazi Ibrahim Abu Mezer - were charged with federal conspiracy and explosives offenses. The affidavit also said that Abu Mezer told agents the bombs were intended for subway attacks.
