The Dow Jones Industrial Average recovered from its Friday meltdown with a rise of 30.89 to 8062.11, a rebound attributed to strengthening bond prices. Profit-taking sent the Nasdaq Composite Index to its second straight steep loss, off 11.78 to 1586.74.
