British author Andrew Morton told the Times of London that the source for his Diana, Her True Story was the princess herself. Morton said Diana reviewed and revised the manuscript for 1992 biography, material which had been attributed to close friends. The princess, killed 31 August in a Paris car crash, also provided family pictures for the book.
