Governor Convicted

Another Arizona Republican governor has bitten the dust. Nine years after Evan Mecham was run out of office - impeached after his indictment for allegedly hiding a campaign loan - Fife Symington has been convicted on bank fraud charges. Symington was accused of fudging the numbers as he fought to keep his real estate development business going. He said he will resign on Friday.
