A 30-month trial in Sicily ended today with conviction of 31 Mafiosi for the 1992 bomb killing of top anti-mob prosecutor Giovanni Falcone, his wife, and three bodyguards. Twenty-four of the defendants were sentenced to life in prison; seven others were sentenced to terms as long as 26 years.
