The TV networks, minus NBC, will inaugurate a new ratings scheme Wednesday intended to give parents a hint about potentially objectionable content coming across the airwaves. Added to the current TV-G, TV-PG, TV-14, TV-MA - labels intended to parallel the movie industry's rating system - are the new ratings D (hot dialogue), L (blue language), S (s-blank-x), and V (excessive shooting, detonating, punching, kicking and biting).
