An Up Market

The Dowreclaimed 74.41 of the points it lost during the previous two days of trading, and closed at 7,921.44; the Nasdaq, which cashed in some 4 percent of its value last week, was up 17.37, to 1,684.22, a rise of 1.04 percent. Traders appeared to shrug off Microsoft's new antitrust troubles and the stock - the day's most heavily traded - closed up 38 cents to $133.63. The company's earnings report was released after the market closed. Lastly, Netscape climbed $3.94 to $38.88.
