John Denver Crash

In an air-crash post-mortem unaccompanied by CIA animation, a National Transportation Safety Board official told San Francisco's KRON-TV that the singer's plane crashed because it was out of gas. The official said Denver apparently realized one of the small aircraft's two tanks was empty and tried to switch to the second during his fatal 12 October flight. The second tank was empty, too.
