Oracle was trading furiously again today, but had pulled out of its nosedive. Some 45 million shares had traded hands by 1 p.m. EST, and the stock was up a quarter. Most everything else was down, however: The Dow was off 1 percent and Nasdaq had slid nearly 2 percent. Elsewhere, Tokyo's Nikkei fell 1.2 percent, Frankfurt's DAX lost 1.6 percent, and London's FTSE slid 0.9 percent.
