Big Net players Yahoo, Netscape, and Microsoft topped the list of most-visited Web addresses in January, just like they did in December - and November, according to the research firm RelevantKnowledge.
In fact, the entire cast of characters in the top 10 domains remained the same, except for some shuffling among themselves. AOL dropped from fourth place to number six, while Excite jumped from five to four, and Infoseek leapt from seven to five.
The rest of the top 25 saw a bit more shuffling, with Amazon and Pathfinder dropping off the list in January from spots number 18 and 21 respectively, in December; WhoWhere search site appearing at this month's number 15 spot; and AT&T entering at number 18.
RelevantKnowledge is a self-appointed monitor of Web site traffic, following a measurement method similar to that of television ratings.
