Ex-Nazi Sentenced

An 86-year-old former Nazi convicted for his role in the wartime massacre of 335 civilians has been ordered by an Italian military court to live out his life sentence under house arrest. The Italian military court's decision to transfer ex-SS Maj. Karl Hass to a nursing home in the town where Pope John Paul summers was criticized by Castel Gandolfo residents.
