There's enough circumstantial physical evidence among the remains of a Vietnam veteran buried at the Tomb of the Unknowns to warrant exhuming the body, says the Pentagon, which will urge Defense Secretary Cohen's approval. But the Pentagon concedes that remains, believed to be those of Air Force 1st Lt. Michael J. Blassie, could, in theory, belong to any of six Americans pilots whose bodies were never found. Tests would be conducted comparing the DNA in the soldier's remains with DNA taken from a member of Blassie's family.
