Montand Cleared

When French grave-diggers exhumed Yves Montand in March, they sought to test the entertainer's DNA to determine whether he sired a love child. The post-mortem results are back and prove that Montand was not the father of 22-year-old Aurore Drossart, whom a court had ruled was Montand's daughter based on her resemblance to him and on witness testimony. Montand had rejected all attempts for a paternity inquest, and died three days before he was to give court testimony in 1991.
