Agent in Court

President Clinton's closest security agent arrived at court Thursday under subpoena, after White House efforts to block him from testifying before independent counsel Kenneth Starr's grand jury failed. Starr is seeking corroborative evidence from Special Agent Larry Cockell in his criminal investigation of the Monica Lewinsky matter. Even with Cockell in court today, the Justice Department was expected to carry its bid to quash the Starr subpoena to a higher court.
