Aides to Nelson Mandela said today they were unaware of a reported plan for the president to wed girlfriend Graca Machel on his 80th birthday Saturday. Mandela has publicly declared his willingness to tie the knot but Machel, 52, said early this year she was happy with the current arrangement -- she spends two weeks a month with Mandela. Archbishop Tutu would like to see nuptials, calling marriage the moral thing to do.
