Viagra Lawsuit

A New York man on Thursday became the first Viagra user to sue the manufacturer, claiming Pfizer's anti-impotency drug caused him to have a heart attack. Diego Padro, 63, says in his US$85 million action that he was given a clean bill of health in April, but a month later, after his doctor filled his request for the famous blue pills, he had a heart attack. He says he regrets that he ever heard of the drug and says he wants it taken off the market. Pfizer said it hadn't yet seen the suit but would defend itself completely.
