US stocks extended their losses on Monday afternoon. The Dow at one point was as low as 7908, wiping out all 1998 gains. In late afternoon trading, the Dow was down 117.92 at 7933.76, the Nasdaq was off 73.45 at 1566.23 and the Wired Index was down 15.52 at 369.32.
