Ghastly Old Prayer

Separation of church and state? Calfornia Republicans should be so lucky. During a prayer Sunday, state GOP chaplain Doc Burch managed to alienate most of the women in his party and embarrass Republican leaders from coast to coast: "Men are givers. Woman are receivers. You give them a little seed, they'll multiply the seed back and give you back a fully developed baby." And this: "Guys, you give your wives a little bit of love, and they'll multiply that back and give you enough love to harelip every cow in Texas." The women in attendance were not impressed.
