US stocks, led by technology issues, fell on Monday as the world's economic powers failed to propose strong remedies to strengthen the global economy. Earnings concerns about bellwethers like Cisco Systems also hurt stocks. In late trading, the Dow was down 161.69 at 7623.00 and the Nasdaq was off 87.52 at 1527.46.
