Clinton Impeached

The US House of Representatives voted Saturday along party lines to impeach President Clinton on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice. Congress rejected two other articles of impeachment. At the White House, Clinton reiterated that he would not resign, and he vowed to seek a constitutional and fair resolution to the crisis. The president's case now goes to trial before the Senate.
