Clinton, who is in Jerusalem trying to revive the Middle East peace process, says resignation has never crossed his mind. The House vote Thursday on impeachment will be the second such vote in US history. If the House votes to impeach the president, a Senate trial will follow. A conviction in considered unlikely since it requires a two-thirds majority vote.
