The Wired Index rose 1.49 to 471.37, the Dow Jones Industrial Average sank 11.59 to 8829.99, and the Nasdaq gained 8.14 to 2024.10. Asia: Japan's Nikkei fell 402.16 to 14405.64, and the Hong Kong Hang Seng dropped 363.44 to 9952.00.
