CBS and New York Times pollsters interviewed 699 adults, of whom 66 percent opposed Clinton's resignation and 31 percent supported it. The numbers were unchanged from a week earlier. An NBC poll following the vote showed 72 percent approved of Clinton's handling of the presidency while 25 percent disapproved.
