US stocks rose in early Tuesday trading, again led by computer-related stocks, on optimism of robust earnings growth for the high-tech industries. The Wired Index rose 5.98 to 581.61, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 40.42 to 9224.69, and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 15.24 to 2223.29.
