Now Republicans are expected to try and push for live testimony by Blumenthal, Vernon Jordan, and Monica Lewinsky, although that appears unlikely. Also looking shaky is the chance of getting an actual conviction. A number of Republican senators, particularly those facing reelection bids, are reportedly uneasy with the idea of actually driving Clinton from office.
