The animals were covered with blankets of the sticky fabric to which cavaliers on horseback tried to affix Velcro-tipped sticks, or banderillas. Animal rights activists weren't mollified, however. They plan to file charges of animal brutality on the grounds that bullfighting of any kind traumatizes the bulls.
