Subject: Porn and the Internet
As a woman, I am offended by this ruling ("Furor Over Net Porn Dismissal," 6.Jan.2000). Don't you know that pornography degrades women and invites child rapists like the one in the article to prey upon children and young people? We just had a case in my community where a 12-year-old girl was repeatedly raped by her mother's boyfriend, murdered, and then chopped into pieces. They still haven't found parts of her body. We can look forward to more crimes like this one if you people in the media and judges don't figure out what defines pornography. Get it together – porn encourages rape.
P.S. And please, quit calling this free speech. Filth is not speech. It's animals wallowing in muck.
