I think your perception about future market trends relative to dot com companies is perfectly correct (Dot Coms? They're for Losers, June 12, 2000).
Would Einstein go for www.relativity.com? I think not. Important contributions, whether in business or in science, do not need suffixes and prefixes to make them successful – they need substance.
