A man who won a $65.4 million lottery prize has sued to recover $500,000 that he gave to a woman in a spree of drunken generosity. Mack Metcalf, 42, of Florence, Kentucky, obtained a temporary restraining order on Friday in Kenton County Circuit Court to freeze all of the assets of Deborah Hodge. Metcalf's suit claims that he gave $500,000 to Hodge "while in an intoxicated state." The suit also claims that Hodge obtained the money by harassing and threatening Metcalf while he was "incompetent to make a valid gift." Since winning the huge jackpot last month, Metcalf has been served with a court order to pay $31,000 in child support and charged with public drunkenness outside a local sports bar. He has said that with his mounting legal problems he doesn't know how soon he will be able to fulfill his dreams of moving to Australia.
