Subject: Jasperon: Site to Die For
I think this is an excellent idea, and a much needed area to improve ("Jasperon: Site to Die For," Sept. 2, 2000).
Most people, even religious ones, do not want to spend their last hours in excessive pain. It's a shame that medical people don't realize this and it must be hammered home; tremendous suffering does no one any good. I cannot see any sense in letting a person linger in pain when death is inevitable.
I thank Jasperon for trying and I hope it goes far.
