In Texas, the use of a camera for illicit purposes is prohibited. A man who has just been prosecuted under this law is facing up to 10 years behind bars. The crime? Secretly videotaping people in their bedrooms and bathrooms. Bruce Kreifels, 44, was accused of planting cameras in neighbors' houses, the bathroom of his church, and the bathroom of his own home -- so he could videotape his now ex-wife. He even put a tiny camera on the toe of his shoe and videotaped up women's skirts as he stopped to ask them for directions in shopping malls. "I think it's evident that he is a sex addict," his lawyer said. He blamed Kreifels' problems in part on the easy availability of pornographic sites on the Internet.
