A gunman opened fire in a crowded bar in Elgin, Illinois, early Saturday, killing two people, and injuring at least 21. The gunman returned to JB's Pub after employees ordered him to leave. He had a shotgun, another long-barreled gun and at least two handguns. "This guy was actually overintoxicated and they escorted him out," bar patron Steve Tishler said. "He came back dressed to kill and that's basically what he did." The 42-year-old suspect was detained by patrons and later arrested. Five people remained hospitalized Saturday, with at least one in critical condition, officials said. Bartender Jeff Weides, 38, and Richard Bartlett, 48, both of Elgin, were pronounced dead at the scene.
