The organizers of Berlin's annual Love Parade will be able to hold their rave party after all, but for the first time will be required to bear the costs for cleaning up the mess they leave behind. City administrators have granted a permit for July 21 but will treat it as a commercial event rather than a political demonstration, which would have let them off the hook for clean-up costs. Naturally, this doesn't sit well with the me-myself-and-I rave crowd, so they've gone to court to try and win back the Love Parade's "demonstration" status.
