Thirteen people were killed and another 16 wounded Thursday when a man wearing an orange police vest walked into a crowded session of the regional parliament in Zug, Switzerland, detonated a bomb, then opened fire with an assault rifle. The blast blew out doors and shattered windows and sent people scrambling in panic. The gunman then walked through the chamber, shooting as he went, one witness said. When he was finished, he shot himself. Police later searched his home and found a note referring to a "day of rage against the Zug Mafia."
