Subject: U.S. Will Have Favors to Return
I'm writing in response to the article, "U.S. Will Have Favors to Return" (October 9, 2001). I find it ludicrous that the U.S. should have to "return favors" to all of these countries in order to secure cooperation against terrorists. The U.S. has done so much for most of the countries in the world, such ashumanitarian aid, military aid, etc., that almost the whole world owes us favors.
