Subject: Rants (People complaining about media giving terrorists ideas.)
I can't get overpeople complaining about media reporting giving terrorists ideas by theirreporting. (Terror 'Mules': Bombs in Bodies, Nov. 13, 2001) .
I'm sorry, but it's not as though the media thought it upthemselves, and then passed it on. I assure you that there isn't anyterrorist or madman reading the newspapers, magazines and websites lookingfor ideas, let alone smacking his forehead and saying "now why didn't I
think of that".
It's not going to happen, especially since if you've got theintelligence to properly set up C4 to fit in a body cavity and then reliablydetonate it remotely, you've probably already thought up the idea as well.
Freedom of speech is intended to keep us all safe and in the know. Buryingone's head in the sand is not going to stop you getting shot in the arse.
Thanks for incredible reporting Wired! You guys have done a great job allthe time, but especially since all this craziness began.
