Subject: Earthlink Service Isn't Kidding
I'm writing about the blocking of XXX sites.
(Earthlink Service Isn't Kidding, Oct 31 2001).
I am at a loss over the problem, as a solution is quite simple.
Have a domain type set up for these sites. Such as "sex" or XXX.
Simply make it a law that those types of sites have to have the Domain type of XXX.
Most of them are more than willing as this will keep the people fromcomplaining and it would be very easy to block any site with XXX as the domain type.
This has been suggested before, and even a high school kid was on nationalTV and talking to his Senator about it – but for some reason nothing is happening and the situation continues.
