Subject: Music a Pol Can Subscribe To
I am writing in response to the article "Music a Pol Can Subscribe To," Dec. 20, 2001.
Hey folks ... just a note. PressPlay and MusicNet are far from "the only legally licensed sites where people can purchase digital music." There is another that has content from most major labels including, sporadically, Universal.
That site would be one that has done it all by the book, for the last few years (nearly six, in one configuration or another). Doing it all "by the book" would explain why so many still have not heard of the site. No controversy, no coverage. That site would be audiocandy.com, where there are no subscription fees required to be entertained and where music purchased and downloaded does not expire. You get it, it's yours to keep. A pretty traditional concept.
