Subject: Apple 'Bundle' Creates a Rumble
What Apple is doing is perfectly fine and acceptable to me (Apple 'Bundle' Creates a Rumble, May 14, 2002).
The way they provide users with extra OS accessories is tolerable, given that any of their extras can easily be removed without possessing a lab coat and a full-ride at MIT.
On the other hand, it's virtually impossible to remove any of the components Microsoft inserts into Windows. They claim that it can be done; then again, the engine in my Volkswagen can also be removed from its compartment.
