Subject: Music Bill Is Bully on IMs
I am writing in response to the article " Music Bill Is Bully on IMs," July 26, 2002.
As an occasional so-called pirate of music files using peer-to-peer software, I find the idea that the recording industry could get its act together enough to run a sophisticated attack on user's file-sharing networkslaughable.
And just how is the music industry going to get by firewalls? This story was dead before it went to print.
