Subject: Haiku'da Been a Spam Filter
Why isn't anyone pushing digital signatures as a way around spam? (Haiku'da Been a Spam Filter Aug. 20, 2002). Removethe anonymity and spam will disappear. No signature, no delivery. Or, spamfilters could be modified to let suspicious messages through if they aresigned with a signature whose trust chain includes an acceptable (to therecipient) registrar.
It seems like VeriSign would be pushing a solution like this, but I haven't seen it.
