Subject: Hey Filters, Leave the Kids Alone
I just read the article "Hey Filters, Leave the Kids Alone," (September 19, 2002) on Web censoring, something that unfortunately affects me and that I feel very strongly about.
I'm a senior at Lenape Valley Regional High School, in Stanhope, N.J. Our school implemented the Websense filter last year.
To be blunt, it sucks.
Half the sites pertaining to technology that I wanted to use in my Web design class were blocked. I need that stuff -
