The university's dog-only bloodmobile travels to doggie blood drives organized by breeders, dog clubs, vets and others to supply the university's School of Veterinary Medicine with needed blood. Only dogs that seem relaxed are permitted to donate, and donors are rewarded with a treat afterward. Owners are proud that their dogs are giving to others. "Just relax," one owner told her panting boxer, "you're going to help so many other dogs."
