I'm writing in response to the article Was Satellite Radio a Big Waste? It's about the content, not the quality. People in most parts of the U.S. are starved for choice in their radio programming. That isn't going to change with terrestrial digital.

When your choice is limited to a very few formats such as religious, country or easy listening, or when you spend hours a day on the road, you might get pretty interested in 100 channels of radio. So, after the initial bumps, and when the satellite radios come as OEM in the autos, this business will take off.
