Subject: Pork Greases U.S. Weapons Program
There was nothing new in this story, especially to those of us who live in Washington and work in and around DoD ("Pork Greases U.S. Weapons Program", Jan. 21, 2003).
However -- the title provides a great idea that can be used in the psychological war with Islamic fundamentalists and the states that support and sponsor them. Let it be known that the U.S. uses pork fat to lubricate its weapons and will use pork fat to coat bombs, artillery rounds and bullets.
Talk about a low-cost but effective weapon!
