A British fan of Paul McCartney is auctioning off what he claims are germs from a flu that forced McCartney to cancel a recent concert. Ian Mears says he caught the flu from McCartney earlier this month. "I had no cold on the Saturday, then on Sunday I spent most of the afternoon with Paul, and by Tuesday I too had a cold," Mears told the Daily Star newspaper. After two days on eBay's U.K. website, the germs have received two bids, the highest for 1.20 pounds (about $2). "The highest bidder will receive a resealable bag that I will cough into," Mears said. "Or if preferred, they can have a plastic container full of mucus."
