A woman in central Thailand has the reincarnation blues. A monitor lizard she believed was possessed by the spirit of her 12-year-old deceased son, Charoen, died Saturday. Jamlong Taengnian and her relatives held a funeral Saturday afternoon for the cherished reptile at the family's house on the outskirts of Bangkok. "I am so sad. I feel as if I have lost my son a second time," said Taengnian. The lizard, named Yui, was first found lying underneath a photograph of Charoen during his funeral and reportedly followed the boy's parents home. Hundreds of people visited the family home in recent years to see the reptile believed to be Charoen and thought to bring good luck. May he rest in peace.
