Subject: Media More Diverse? Not Really
There is a quick and painless solution to all of this that I've already put into practice myself ("Media More Diverse? Not Really," May 30, 2003). Stop watching the news! I don't miss it one bit. You'd be surprised how fast the truly important news gets to me through friends and co-workers while all the sensational filler that permeates the news gets filtered out. Of course, there is one question that does need to be asked … who owns Wired?

Subject: A Spy Machine of Darpa's Dreams
This sounds absolutely terrifying to me ("A Spy Machine of Darpa's Dreams," May 20, 2003). I'm not sure I want to live in a country that dares to call itself free when it looks so closely at individuals' lives. I hope this project dies early, though it doesn't look like it will.

Subject: Fire Up That Game, Boy
I owe you guys one ("Fire Up That Game, Boy," May 28, 2003). Being a 16-year-old who loves technology too much for his own good, I now have a very good excuse for playing my video games (especially since I will be getting my driver's license pretty soon). So now I can play my video games whenever I want and say, "Mom, I am improving my visual skills for driving," instead of, "Mom, I am just killing random people in a computer-generated atmosphere for no reason."
